Google'ın bu hizmeti ileride şirketin Kablosuz Internet Bağlantı hizmeti
sunmaya hazırlandığının sinyallerini veriyor. Çeşitli kaynakların haberlerine
göre Google yetkilileri konu hakkında yorum yapmaktan çekinirken Ağustos
ayında Google'ın kendi ana iş kolunun dışında işlere girişeceği ve Kablosuz
Internet Sağlayıcılığı işine gireceği Business 2.0 dergisi tarafından
yazılmıştı.

Google'ın bu atılımı hem Internet hem de Telecom şirketlerine ileride rakip

PRESENCE 2005 Conference
21 September 2005 - 23 September 2005 London, UKThis conference
brings together academic researchers studying Presence, content and
technology developers, and interested commercial parties so they can
meet, share experiences, present research, and exchange ideas. The
study of Presence aims at understanding how and under what conditions a
person experiences a virtual or augmented environment as if it is real.
Based on a combined technological, neuropsychological and sociological
effort, this field provides crucial insight for developing new interfaces and
new media experiences. Since several years the European Commission is
actively funding research in Presence through the Future and Emerging
Technologies (FET) programme. Several of the funded projects are
presenting their results at the conference.
