Playing a saw consists of two elements:
•   Bowing the saw to make it vibrate (sing).
•   Bending the saw to change pitches.

The different tones that come out of your saw depends upon how tightly
or loosely you are bending it.  The purpose of bowing is to get the saw to
vibrate and thus play music.  If you want to play a high note, bend the saw
more tightly.  Conversely, low notes are attained by relaxing the curve in
the saw.
